Ethiopian Opinions on Somaliland: Survey from Premise#
This notebook visualizes the responses from the Premise Survey conducted in Ethiopia in January 2024. The Data Lab will use the questions and responses to inform subsequent analyses using Google Trends data to understand the needs of the people.
Data#
Premise is a crowdsourced insights company. They collected data through incentivized phone surveys and make their data available through the Development Data Partnership. Premise deploys ad hoc rapid response surveys on breaking events around the world. This includes sentiment collection in the lead up or aftermath of a wide spectrum of events, from natural disasters and elections to civil unrest and conflict.
The current dataset has 871 responses from across Ethiopia, mostly concentrated near Addis Ababa.
