Valentina Saavedra
Valentina Saavedra is a climate change specialist currently supporting LAC countries in implementing the Paris Agreement, with a focus on enhancing climate ambition through NDC updates and LTS. Previously, she worked as a World Bank consultant on pollution management, city competitiveness, and quantifying climate co-benefits of development projects. Earlier in her career, she served as a sustainable water management specialist at Chile’s Ministry of Energy and the University of Chile. She is a Renewable Natural Resources Engineer and has a Masters in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Maryland.
