Angela Elzir Assy
Angela Elzir is a Labor Market Specialist at the World Bank Lebanon office, part of the Jobs Group global department. She joined the World Bank in 2010 as a Research Analyst based in the Lebanon Office, and in 2015, she joined the Jobs Group as a Junior Professional Associate based in Washington D.C. Angela leads and works on a range of operational and analytical projects focusing on the areas of jobs and employment (youth and women). She also has experience on social safety nets, and community driven development. Angela holds a MasterŐs degree in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and a Bachelor degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut (AUB).
