Alison Weingarden
Alison Weingarden is an economist and project manager in the OECD’s Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities (CFE). She has led quantitative, policy-focused projects on the geography of economic development and demographic change across the rural-urban continuum. Before joining the OECD, she was a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Board working on US employment and productivity analysis for monetary policy. Alison holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Princeton University, a master’s degree from the London School of Economics, and a PhD in economics from Georgetown University.
