Aiga Stokenberga

Aiga Stokenberga is an economist in the Transport Global Practice, where she leads economic and spatial analyses that inform urban transport and regional transport corridor planning strategies in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Previously, she has worked in the fields of sustainable energy, logistics, and trade integration at the World Bank, the World Resources Institute, and the Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. Her published research spans the fields of urban and infrastructure economics and transport planning. Aiga holds an MA in International Energy Policy from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a PhD in Environment and Resources, with a focus on urban land use, from Stanford University.
